Slit Scan Images

This is a series of varied images created using slit-scan processing. At it’s most basic, this involves taking one line from each subsequent frame of a video file and putting them next to each other to create a “time lapse image”.

You can do many variations on this, like preprocessing the video clips for certain results like slowing down the motion of the video to get a larger image. You can also do things like have the line that is being captured move across the image over the course of the video and there are many more possibilities depending only on your imagination.
