Ian Page-Echols
User Experience and Interaction Designer

Ian is a User Experience (UX) and Interaction Designer (IxD) in Seattle, WA and is available for freelance work!

I make complex systems into enjoyable interactions with user-centered design and design thinking methodologies. I am fascinated with how people interact with technology. After innumerable hours supporting clients in the use of software and hardware, I have an intuitive understanding of user stumbling blocks and expectations. I’m practically a software savant.

Knowledge on and experience with many platforms and tools, observation, analysis, collaboration, design and technical skills. I have worked in agile environments, collaborated with engineering, stakeholders of all types, and subject matter experts to wireframe, prototype, design, and build technology products.

I have a passion for emerging technologies and am currently exploring virtual reality and spatial computing.

I am currently working on a Human Centered Design & Engineering Masters at the University of Washington! (Expected Spring 2020 Completion).

I guest lectured on virtual reality prototyping for the UW HCDE Masters Interaction Design & Prototyping 536 class and would love to bring a related talk to your company or organization! If you are working on a virtual reality project, there is no better scenario than getting your designers into VR to be able to influence what the project will look like early in the project!
