Slit-scan giclée prints
Digital slit-scan works, printed as professional giclée prints that I frame and mount myself. One scan holds far more image data than a single print can show, so each capture can become several different works depending on the crop and proportions. Available as a series, or sized to a specific wall.
About the work
My practice centers on repetition, transformation, and formal clarity. Many pieces begin with photographic source material and evolve through analog processes that simplify, distress, or recompose the image, blurring the line between photography and printmaking.
Recent work includes a growing series of 11×14 gel monoprints based on photographs taken in Mexico City: bold patterns of light and shadow drawing on architecture, faces, industrial forms, trees, and leaves. Each piece is built from multiple impressions of a single image in varied colors, then a second image in one to three more tones, with layers intentionally offset so traces of each pass remain.
In other pieces I combine gel printing with silkscreen: gel printing for textural, atmospheric backgrounds, and silkscreen for bold graphic elements in the foreground.
Commissions & custom editions
I welcome commissions for original artwork, custom print series, and site-responsive projects, for private collections, curated interiors, and corporate environments. Past work includes print editions, sculptural prototypes, and mixed media pieces for residential and commercial settings.
Each commission starts with a conversation about concept, setting, and materials, and I work closely with collectors, curators, consultants, creative directors, and architectural teams.
