About

Ian Page-Echols
User Experience and Interaction Designer

Ian is a User Experience (UX) and Interaction Designer (IxD) in Seattle, WA and is available for freelance work!

I make complex systems into enjoyable interactions with user-centered design and design thinking methodologies. I am fascinated with how people interact with technology. After innumerable hours supporting clients in the use of a wide range of software and hardware, I have an intuitive understanding of user stumbling blocks and expectations.

I am knowledgeable in many platforms and tools, have observation, analysis, collaboration, design and technical skills. After 20+ years of design experience, I can create in any style and use any tools. I use my technology knowledge to make the best use of the platforms at hand, and can recommend directions and technologies to move towards.

I have worked in agile environments, collaborated with engineering, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to research, wireframe, prototype, design, and build technology products.

I have a passion for exploring human interactions with technology from cobbled together technology art installations to high end virtual reality and spatial computing.
