Live Visuals & Performance Art
I create and perform immersive visuals for live music shows, blending technology and artistry to enhance the performance experience. When I’m deeply into the music, I’m unaware of anything but the sound and the energy of the performers. Every once in a while, I come out of the haze, and if I see zoned-out people staring at the screen or even better, musicians looking back at it, I know I’m doing my job.
My Visual Performance Style
I use a combination of custom controllers, vintage video cameras, and mixer hardware to manipulate visuals in real time. This creates unique, analog-style effects with a raw, organic feel. My setup blends cutting-edge digital software with old-school analog gear, allowing for a wide range of effects, from clean and cinematic to chaotic and glitchy.
I don’t just play back pre-made performances. I react to the music, creating a visual experience that evolves with the performance, inherently different every time.
