About The Work

My practice centers on repetition, transformation, and formal clarity. Many of my pieces begin with photographic source material and evolve through analog processes that simplify, distress, or recompose the image. The results often blur the line between photography and printmaking—abstracted, layered, and materially rich.

Recent work includes a growing series of 11×14 gel monoprints based on photographs taken in Mexico City. These prints explore bold patterns of light and shadow and draw on themes such as architecture, faces, industrial forms, and natural elements like trees and leaves. Each piece is built through multiple impressions of a single image in varied colors, followed by a second image printed in one to three additional tones. Layers are intentionally offset, allowing traces of each pass to remain visible and interact.

In other pieces, I combine gel printing with silkscreen to create compositions with depth and contrast. Gel printing is used to establish highly textural, atmospheric backgrounds, while silkscreen allows for the addition of bold graphical elements in the foreground. This layered approach merges the irregularity of hand-pulled textures with the precision of graphic form, resulting in prints that are both controlled and expressive.

Whether working in monoprint, screen print, or sculptural form, I aim to create work that rewards close observation. My background in design and spatial interaction informs the process, resulting in pieces that bring a sense of quiet precision and visual rhythm to the spaces they inhabit.

Artworks are available in a range of sizes and formats, suitable for private collections, curated interiors, and corporate environments. I regularly collaborate with curators, consultants, and architectural teams to develop custom work for specific contexts.

Commissions and Custom Editions

I welcome commissions for original artwork, custom print series, and site-responsive projects. Past work includes print editions, sculptural prototypes, and mixed media pieces for both residential and commercial settings.

Each commission begins with a conversation around concept, setting, and materials, and includes planning and fabrication to ensure the final work aligns with the client’s space and intent. I work closely with collectors, creative directors, and brand teams to develop thoughtful, lasting pieces that complement their environment while holding their own as singular works.
